Client Profile

Thales Group is a French multinational company that designs and builds electrical systems and provides services for the aerospace, defence, transportation and security markets.

Thales was looking to enhance their engineering team building skills and looked to VR Vision to help coordinate a virtual reality simulation that would instill those traits. They seperated their staff into 6 teams at independant VR stations to work together to defuse a simulated bomb in the application “Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes”. The simulation challenged them to think quickly and critically while working together to defuse the bomb in the allotted time.

Technology & Services

VR Vision provided six high end HTC Vive Systems setup in full room scale. The activation was 4 hours long. VR staff consisted of six hosts, one product support specialist and a manager. The content utilized was Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes.

The Thales team consisted of over 100 Senior Engineers and Directors who had never used VR before this simulation. After working together in 6 seperate teams it was interesting to see which teams performed better, with higher level engineers working together the best and inevitably winning the defusal scenario.

“We reached out to VR Vision for a corporate event and could not have been happier with our decision. Roni and Joannah were extremely supportive in helping us decide which application best worked with our team, tailoring it for our group, and then working around space constraints and a tight schedule. The event was a success, and our guests truly enjoyed the VR portion of it. VR Vision is an incredibly unique activity for any event, and the team was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended! Thanks again!”
